My friend Catie lives in Chicago. We met her and her husband while Dustin and I were on our honeymoon in Huatulco. She's a friend that I don't talk to often but when we get together, chat or write letters I feel like she's always been beside me. Our relationship feels comfortable, cozy and warm.
Here's her birthday card and another submission for Kristina's color challenge. Once I made the card I thought of Catie. I know she'll love it. Over the last 11 years she has seen my artwork grow and even though back then my cards weren't very pretty at least she thought they were.
I just love her to death!
